This course will upon completion will provide participant classroom and practical instruction of the safe use of chainsaws. Participants will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the requirements, guidelines, and procedures for the safe operation and maintenance of chainsaws. Topics include, operating hazards, safety features, maintanence requirements, chain and bar features, personal protective equipment, fueling and starting procedures, handling and cutting techniques.
