The Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters Ontario Health Team (KHWOHT) is a collaborative initiative dedicated to enhancing healthcare for individuals and families in the region. With a focus on equitable access, culturally safe practices, and innovative collaboration, KHWOHT is committed to addressing the unique needs of Northern communities and improving overall health outcomes.
Are You Interested in Shaping Healthcare in Your Community?
KHWOHT is seeking individuals with lived experience as a caregiver or patient to help guide the development and delivery of healthcare services in our region.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience using the healthcare system in the Kiiwetinoong area
- Are passionate about sharing their insights to create meaningful change
- Able to generate ideas and build consensus on differences of opinion
- Able to maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information
- Can dedicate approximately 1-2 hours per month to engagement activities
