Digital Health
The KHWOHT is committed to advancing digital health solutions that strengthen connections between patients and providers, especially in our rural and remote communities.
We are actively improving data sharing, enhancing virtual care options, and supporting tools that make it easier for patients to access care when and where they need it.
At the same time, we’re conducting a comprehensive review of telemedicine and virtual care across the catchment area. This includes identifying gaps in access, understanding patient uptake, and removing barriers to adoption for both providers and the community.
Our digital health efforts are not only locally driven but also aligned with broader regional initiatives. We are working closely with partners to support projects such as Ocean eReferral, centralized referral intake, and other coordinated solutions that improve care navigation, streamline processes, and reduce duplication.
By putting the right digital tools in place, we’re building a more connected, responsive, and equitable health system for everyone.
