Hazelwood Lake Conservation Area
The Hazelwood Lake Conservation Area has several hiking opportunities for all skill levels. The three primary trail systems include the Orange Trail, Forest Community Trail, and Dam Trail.
- Orange Trail: An easy 2.5 km loop with beautiful views of the lake, check out the wetland spur trail to observe local waterfowl. Trail Difficulty: Moderate
- Forest Community Trail: A 2.5 km loop that winds through the forest. Trail Difficulty: Moderate
- Dam Trail: 1.5 km one-way trail follows the river and ends at an interesting dam. Trail Difficulty: Easy.
Please Note: Gasoline-powered devices are prohibited in or on the lake; only electric motors, manual ice augers, etc. are permitted. No snowmobiles or ATVs are allowed.
