  • Birding Big Day

    Thursday, October 9 – Birding Big Day; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

What is a Birding Big Day? What can you do to contribute to bird conservation efforts in Northwestern Ontario?

Join us on Thursday, October 9th at the LRCA Administrative Office for a chance to meet our region’s eBird Moderator, James Barber, ask him all your eBird questions, and consider joining our attempt at creating a Thunder Bay eBird “Trip Report” to track in real time everyone’s discoveries on October’s Global Big Day, Saturday, October 11!  Weather permitting, we will then head out to explore some nearby hotspots to find some Fall crepuscular birds.
