Yes, there are wireless routers throughout the camp, if we experience technical difficulties, you can always access the internet from the Service Centre.
There is ample space to dock your Boat when staying at the Lodge, but we do have an open docking system in place, therefore, we do not reserve specific docks for certain cabins.
Fishing is amazing throughout the season, but the location of species changes depending on the time of year you plan on arriving.
Mahkwa is located within a 10 to 15 minute boat ride of great hot spots including Vaughn Lake.
No, parking, docking and boat launch fees are at to cost. Applicable taxes are 13% extra.

The Service Centre has minnows for sale, some guests purchase nightcrawlers and leeches prior to arriving at Mahkwa. For Walleye, jigs tipped with a minnow work well, other lures that are popular include: Cordell Wally Diver, Strike King Redeye Shad, Rapala Shad Rap (No. 7 & No. 5)
For Northern, ¾ oz jigs tipped with a minnow or 5 of diamonds lure do the trick.

A medical clinic is located just 10 minutes from the lodge during business hours, or Meno Ya Win Hospital is only a 50-minute drive from the Lodge.
Roads are paved all the way to Mahkwa Lodge with the exception of the last mile which is gravel.
